Battery Inspection Service A battery diagnostic evaluation plus inspection of cables and terminations. If we can correct the issue without replacing batteries, we will tell you.

Annual Cart Maintenance: Electric Motor, controller and connections, battery load test, lights, tires, suspension, alignment and brakes. The full yearly service for an electric cart.

Annual Cart Maintenance: Gas Starter/generator belt, drive belt, choke and accelerator cables, oil change, spark plug, air and fuel filters, plus the full chassis inspection.

The annual service

What a yearly electric service actually covers.

Most carts get driven hard for a season and then sit. The annual maintenance is what keeps a set of batteries from quietly dying over a Texas summer, and it is the same checklist every time.

  • Motor, controller, receptacle and electrical connections
  • Battery terminations cleaned, tightened and coated
  • Batteries load tested to determine true capacity
  • Lights and accessories function check
  • Tire pressure set to specification
  • Front shocks, wheel bearings and suspension greased
  • Front end alignment checked and adjusted
  • Rear suspension and shocks inspected
  • Brake function and shoe wear, pedal free play adjusted

Seats, tires, rims, lift kits, lights, mirrors, decals. Every build is different, so we start with a free consultation, work out the look and the function you are after, then put a proposal together against it.

As a KANDI dealer we also sell new golf carts and UTVs, and we run a trade-in program that puts credit from your current cart toward a new one.

Before you call.

Do you come to my house?
Yes. Above Par is a mobile service. We bring the tools and the parts to your driveway or garage, so the cart never leaves home and you are not without it for weeks.
Do you service gas carts as well as electric?
Both. There is a separate annual maintenance program for each, with its own inspection checklist, because a gas cart needs belts, plugs and filters that an electric cart does not.
Which brands do you work on?
All the major brands, including Club Car, E-Z-GO and Yamaha. We are also a KANDI dealer for new golf cart and UTV sales.
Can you tell me whether I really need new batteries?
That is exactly what the Battery Inspection Service is for. We run a diagnostic evaluation and inspect the cables and terminations, and if the problem can be fixed without replacing the pack, we will say so.
How do I get a price?
Call (512) 265-6282 and tell us the make, model and roughly what the cart is doing. Pricing is quoted per cart because the work varies so much between a gas cart and a lithium build.
