Annual Cart Maintenance: Electric

  • Check motor, controller, receptacle and electrical connections
  • Check battery terminations, clean and tighten and coat as required
  • Load test batteries to determine capacity
  • Check the function of lights and accessories
  • Check and adjust tire pressure to tire specification
  • Check front shocks, wheel bearings and suspension, grease lubrication points
  • Check front end alignment, adjust if necessary
  • Check rear suspension and shock
  • Check brake function, inspect shoes for wear, adjust pedal free play

  • Check the starter/generator belt and adjust tension if required
  • Check the drive belt for excessive wear
  • Check the choke cable function and adjust
  • Check accelerator cable and governed speed
  • Change oil
  • Inspect spark plug, adjust the gap or replace if required

  • Check the function of lights and accessories
